Let's not beat about the bush: personal trading mentors want a piece of the action, so you're not going to get one if your account isn't quite sizeable to start with.
If you're starting out with a small account (btw: did I mention that the most likely cause of failure is under-capitalization?) you have to look elsewhere for support.
